We want you to feel comfortable with the way your work appears on Pinterest, and let you decide whether it appears at all. Here are a few tools to control your stuff.
Block pinning from your site.
Add a no-pin tag to keep people from pinning images from your site. You can keep them from pinning any images from your site, images from a certain page, or specific images. This is a good option if you’d like to stop people from pinning anything from your website, or let people pin some things but not others.=
Ask us to remove your stuff.
If you want to remove your content from Pinterest, it’s easy to let us know. Tell us if you want just one pin, or every pin containing a certain image, removed. We’ll review your request and act on it right away. This is a good option if you see your work on Pinterest and want it removed quickly. Here’s what the form looks like:
Block specific images from being pinned.
Add image blocking to keep people from pinning an image you own, no matter where it is on the web. To use this tool, you’ll need to have a free business account. If you already have a personal account, you can easily convert it to a business account. This is a good option if you want to stop people from pinning a specific image from any site across the web.
Track pinning from your site.
Check out your Pinterest analytics to find out how many people are pinning from your site, seeing your pins, and clicking on your stuff. If you're wondering whether you want your content on Pinterest, analytics is a good way to help you make the choice.
When you pin an image from one of the sites in our attribution program, that pin will identify the author and provide a link to the URL where the image can be found. Some of our attribution partners include Flickr, Behance, Vimeo, and 500px. Distributing your work through our attribution partners is a good option if you want to make sure you get credit for it and send traffic to the page where the original image is found. A pin with attribution looks like this:
